Course Materials Allowance

If you qualify for Title IV Federal Student Aid (FSA), you may also be eligible to receive a course materials allowance (voucher or check) within the first week of the semester in order to help you obtain the required course materials as soon as possible. Read our Course Materials Allowance Policy for complete details.

For Master's and Graduate Certificate Students

Thanks to the University Book Grant, all undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students will receive no-cost ebooks. A hard-copy textbook is provided if an ebook is not available.

Course Material Confirmations

Master’s and graduate certificate students should contact booklist@apus.edu to ensure they are purchasing the correct course materials. Materials may not be finalized until 30 days before the course start date. If students purchase incorrect course materials without contacting booklist@apus.edu, they will not be reimbursed by APUS.
