Delta Mu Delta Honor Society

Delta Mu Delta is an international honor society for high achieving business students. We officially chartered the chapter, Mu Zeta in September 2011, making it the 294th chapter of Delta Mu Delta.

Benefits include:

Networking opportunities, scholarship programs, acknowledgment for federal employment, access to the society’s newsletter The Vision, and a subscription to Bloomsburg Businessweek.

Lifetime Membership fee:

$65 (grants a membership certificate, distinctive key insignia, and lifetime contact through the society newsletter).

Alumni can join up to 12 months after their conferral.

Delta Mu Delta Honor Society achieved GOLD standing per the university's Chapter Standards program. Gold standing demonstrates a notable level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:

The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one. Criteria:

  • Status Requirement: active student (completed at least one course in the past 12 months)
  • Program Requirement: bachelor's or master's-level student in an ACBSP-accredited program in the School of Business: Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Government Contracting and Acquisition, Hospitality Management, Management, Marketing, Retail Management, Reverse Logistics Management, Technical Management, Transportation and Logistics Management
  • Graduate: 
    • GPA: 3.9633 or above cumulative GPA in current program (to meet national eligibility requirements, must be in the top 20% of students in the School of Business; GPA thresholds reviewed annually on July 1)
    • Semester Hour Requirement: completed at least six semester hours with the university in the current program; completed at least half of total required semester hours in current program (university and transfer credit)
  • Undergraduate:
    • GPA: 3.8887 or above cumulative GPA in current program (to meet national eligibility requirements, must be in the top 20% of students in the School of Business; GPA thresholds reviewed annually on July 1)
    • Semester Hour Requirement: completed at least six semester hours with the university in the current program; completed at least half of total required semester hours in current program (university and transfer credit)
  • Complied with university policies on academic integrity
  • Alumni may join retroactively, if conferred in the past year, and must initiate process by contacting the Office of Student Affairs
