Countries Denied Admission

APUS does not admit international students to our institution who reside in countries that are on the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanction list as it applies to educational entities, as well as countries that do not align with our business practices. Individuals who are citizens of these nations and who reside elsewhere outside the United States may appeal for admission to the university. U.S. citizens who reside in these nations may also be denied admission at university discretion.

APUS does not admit students ordinarily resident in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, China, or in the following regions: Crimea, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).
